John Peacock - Ontario Soccer Summit Presenter

john peacocknew250The Ontario Soccer Association has announced another highly-coveted international presenter that will be joining the Ontario Soccer Summit 2017. 

John Peacock from FIFA will bring a unique approach to the game and will be front and centre at the March 3rd to 5th event in Oshawa. 

Peacock is an experienced professional football coach, with over 30 years of service  in the areas of international team management, coach education and professional youth development.

He was previously employed by the English FA at National elite level as Head of Senior Elite Coach Development, directing the UEFA Pro licence and UEFA Advanced licence while managing the England U-17s.

He is now a FIFA Technical Instructor delivering on coaching courses as well as strategic development and a UEFA Technical Instructor and UEFA JIRA panel member. Peacock will present on a holistic player development Model

“John’s depth and variety of experience is exceptional and our membership is certainly going to benefit from that,” said Bobby Lennox, Manager of Coaching Development. “His approach and commitment to the holistic player development model is very much in line with what we want to see here in Ontario.”

The host venue for the Ontario Soccer Summit 2017 is the Oshawa Civic Recreation Complex and Trent University and the event runs March 3-5, 2017.

The Oshawa Civic Centre boasts an international FIFA size 100 metre x 70 metre artificial turf playing field that can be configured into two or four fields for on-field learning.

Trent University, which is steps from the Oshawa Civic Centre, will offer an intimate setting, which is optimal for the immersive Soccer Summit learning experience.

There are reduced rates for those booking groups of 5-20 attendees and even greater discounts for those booking 20 or more.

Also, the 2017 event will feature reduced pricing for youth (under 18 years of age) attendees. In addition, Female Mentorship Program participants, Learning Facilitators and District Administrators all receive special pricing.
