The Ontario Soccer Summit 2018 is going to be a master-class for technical leaders and with world-renowned match official speakers coming as well, the event is shaping up nicely for those who work on the field.

But what about for those who work behind-the-scenes in soccer?

This year, the Ontario Soccer Summit has put together its largest roster of speakers to date for its Administration stream and each of them bring something unique to the event.

“We’ve paid particular attention this year to ensuring that our team, club, academy and district administrators will have a full complement of speakers to learn from at the 2018 Ontario Soccer Summit,” said Lyn Wallington, Ontario Soccer Senior Manager of Operations.

Dr. Nick Bontis, the Vice-President of Canada Soccer, leads this year's roster of presenters. Bontis is recognized internationally as a leading strategy and management guru. With humor and passion, he empowers individuals, teams and organizations to build their brainpower for high performance and sustainable competitive advantage.

Another coup for the Ontario Soccer Summit administrators will be the addition of Christopher Doyle, Twitter's Director of Partnerships and Head of Sports at Twitter Canada. The first ever Head of Partnerships for Twitter Canada, he works with the nation's top brands on social sponsorship in Canada and manages complex partnership deals with major Canadian brands, premium content partners and digital creators.

“This is an opportunity for those who work tirelessly behind-the-scenes to get out, network with your peers and pick up new information that can enrich your communities,” said Wallington.

Roisin Wood (Kick it Out on Discrimination), Ray Chapman (Rescue 7 on the First 10 Minutes), Dave Harris (Oakville SC on Walking Soccer) and Dr. Susan Lambert (Boomerang on Mental Health and Anxiety) as well as representatives from the Respect Group and the Peel Regional Police, partners with League1 Ontario, will also be in attendance to engage with delegates.

Ontario Soccer recently announced John Furlong, Andrea Shaw, and Dr. Stephen Norris as the three keynote speakers for the event.

Also announced previously were session speakers: Sebastian Dremmler (Bayern Munich Youth Teams Operations Manager), Jason deVos (Director of Development, Canada Soccer) and Richard Grootscholten (Academy Director at Feyenoord Rotterdam).

Early bird tickets have sold out but there are still individual tickets and great group discounts available.
