How to watch or follow the Ontario teams at Toyota National Championships

More than 10,000 players from nearly 600 teams began the journey to Canada Soccer’s Toyota National Championships

From close to 600 clubs participating over 13 months, the 63 finalists have been confirmed for this year’s Toyota National Championships from 4-9 October. Those clubs are now looking forward to 153 matches across six competitions from which the 2017 amateur national champions will be crowned over Thanksgiving weekend across three Canadian cities.

More than 10,000 players took part in the qualifying competitions, with 595 teams registered in provincial and territorial competitions.

U-15 Cup in Calgary, Alberta

There are 24 teams competing in the U-15 Cup, with 12 in the boys championship and 12 in the girls championship. Teams have been divided into four groups of three teams, with teams progressing through quarter-finals, semi-finals, and then the championship final on Monday 9 October. Both championship finals will be streamed live on canadasoccer.com: the girls final at 11.00 am ET and the boys final 1:30 pm ET.

Boys Group C: Winnipeg Bonivital SC, St. John’s SC, CS Longueuil

Girls Group A: Inter SC Edmonton, Fall River’s Suburban FC, Winsloe-Charlottetown Royals FC
Girls Group B: Surrey United SC, Moncton Codiac First Touch, CS Monteuil Laval
Girls Group C: Kitchener SC, FC Regina, Yukon Selects
Girls Group D: St. John’s SC, Winnipeg FC Northwest, Yellowknife Bay SC

U-17 Cup in Fredericton, New Brunswick

There are 20 teams competing in the U-17 Cup, with 10 in the boys championship and 10 in the girls championship. Teams have been divided into two groups of five teams, with teams playing cross-over matches for final standings on the last day of the competition. Both championship finals will be streamed live on canadasoccer.com: the girls final at 08.30 am ET and the boys final at 11.30 am ET

Challenge Trophy & Jubilee Trophy in Surrey, British Columbia

There are 10 men’s teams competing in the Challenge Trophy finals and nine women’s teams competing in the Jubilee Trophy finals. The men’s championship has been divided into two groups of five teams while the women’s championship has been divided into three groups of three teams.

Canada Soccer will broadcast every day from each of the three 2017 Toyota National Championships venues, culminating with the six gold-medal matches on Teck Finals Day.
