Play. Inspire. Unite.

With the League1 Ontario season coming down to a handful of upcoming matches, there is little room for missteps by teams vying for the title with close rivals. Four results in Matchweek 20 appear to have opened up the race for Oakville Blue Devils in the men's west division, and FC London in the women's division.

Second place men's west division side Sigma FC went to London to take on fourth place FC London, knowing that a win was necessary to keep pace with leaders Oakville Blue Devils. Sigma's Kadell Thomas gave the Mississauga academy an important lead, but London held firm and came back to draw 2-2 at the final whistle.

Oakville Blue Devils took advantage of the stalemate in London by holding off Pro Stars FC with a 3-2 final result. Oakville is now eight points clear at the top of the men's west division with only four matches left to play.

In the women's division, first and second place sides North Mississauga Panthers and Vaughan Azzurri played to a 2-2 draw after a goal from Panthers' Cathyrn Rogers in the last minute of regular time. Third place side FC London made no mistake in taking advantage of the opportunity, closing the gap on the leaders to five points following a 7-1 dismantling of Sanjaxx Lions. North Mississauga has three matches left in their season, Vaughan Azzurri has two and London holds a mathematical advantage with five matches left to play.
