United Nations FC concede late goal to lose 1-0

Play. Inspire. Unite.

A single goal would be the difference in the Men's Masters Championships at Birchmount Stadium Sunday.

The Over-35 tournament was won by the Woodbridge Italia TFCO Legends, who down the United Nations FC by a score of 1-0.

A scrappy affair, the game saw five yellow cards handed out, including the dismissal of United Nations' Eris Tafaj just before the half.

Down a man for the entire second half, United Nations would bunker and defend well.

Woodbridge would finally find a way through though in the 77th minute when Andre Talarico found the back of the net and put his squad ahead.

That would be all they would need though and Woodbridge would hang on to be crowned the Men's Master champions.
