League1 Ontario history was made as Vaughan's Jarek Whiteman set an individual record by scoring seven goals

The League1 Ontario Golden Boot races were turned on their head in Matchweek 12 as several players racked up the goals.

In the men's division, Vaughan Azzurri's Jarek Whiteman set a League1 Ontario individual player record after scoring seven goals and leading the Vaughan Azzurri to an 11-1 away win over Pro Stars FC. With the goal haul, Whiteman moved from fifth to first in the men's Golden Boot race.

Windsor TFC's Noah Pio also ran up his personal goal tally with four against Aurora FC, which combined with a brace from his brother Michael Pio gave the travelling Windsor side a valuable road win. Noah Pio moved into joint-fifth in the men's Golden Boot race with his goals.

In the women's division, North Mississauga Panthers' Cassandra Briscoe scored four in a 6-0 demolition of Aurora FC. After scoring three goals in her previous match, Briscoe's form has brought her to second position in the women's Golden Boot race - five goals behind FC London's Jade Kovacevic, who was held to no goals this week by a stingy Durham defence.
