The following is important information about the 2017 process:

All information and documentation shall be submitted online. This includes the initial letter of intent and all documentation to follow.

Interested OSA-sanctioned organizations will be required to provide a “Letter of Good Standing” from their District Association when submitting their Letter of Intent. This requirement is not applicable to OSA Recognized Non-Club Academies (ORNCA).

The timelines have been changed to reflect a more efficient time frame of completion for interested organizations.

Timeline are described as follows:

• January 31 to February 24 – Letters of Intent submitted to the OSA
• February 24 to March 3 – Finance Review (Stage I)
• March 13 to April 12 – Governance Review (Stage II)
• April 17 to June 30 – Technical Review (Stage III)
• August – Announcement of successful applicants

Timelines of submission shall be followed by all applicants. Any organization failing to submit information by established deadlines will not be invited to the next stage. 

All RFP applications will be reviewed by the OSA’s five-member OPDL Assessment and Selection Committee following the closing of the application window. The Committee will be comprised of OSA senior staff and independent members and will be chaired by an independent Committee member. 

All application material submitted by applicants is kept confidential and Committee members are required to sign non-disclosure agreements in line with this.
