The Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) has announced the latest presenter for the Ontario Soccer Summit 2017 and it's one the match official community has been waiting for.

Isaac Raymond, FIFA Futuro III referee technical and fitness instructor, and national assessor and Manager of Canada’s Referee Department will be presenting at the Ontario Soccer Summit 2017 on New FIFA Laws changes.

This speaker's presentation is brought to you by Rescue 7 - the Official Health and Safety Training Partner of the Ontario Soccer Summit 2017.

“His deep knowledge of the game will be essential learning for Ontario match officials,” said Nicky Pearson, OSA Manager of Match Official Development.

Before joining Canada Soccer, in addition to being a FIFA Futuro III referee technical and fitness instructor and national assessor, Raymond has served as District Referee Coordinator for the Toronto Soccer Association and was in charge of the Ontario Soccer Association’s Advanced Referee Training Program. He has also been a National List Official between 2005 and 2008 and represented Canada in various international, NASL, University Championships and Canadian National Club Championships throughout his career.

“Events like the Ontario Soccer Summit are a fantastic opportunity for Ontario’s match officials to take in great learning sessions and be around like-minded people in our community," Raymond said. "Top match officials know that lifelong learning is the best way to ensure they're prepared for every challenge the beautiful game can throw at them.”

The host venue for the Ontario Soccer Summit 2017 is the Oshawa Civic Recreation Complex and Trent University and the event runs March 3-5, 2017.

The Oshawa Civic Centre boasts an international FIFA size 100 metre x 70 metre artificial turf playing field that can be configured into two or four fields for on-field learning.

Trent University, which is steps from the Oshawa Civic Centre, will offer an intimate setting, which is optimal for the immersive Soccer Summit learning experience.
