The Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) announced today the hiring of the President of Bryst International Inc. Gary Miller to the position of Technical Director.

Miller brings more than three decades of coaching experience to the role.

"We are pleased to have Gary join our team at such an exciting time for the association," OSA Executive Director Johnny Misley said. "Gary is a visionary leader in soccer who has devoted his whole life to the game at all levels. His coaching and leadership experience at the private academy, provincial and national levels align well with our future direction."

Miller served in a variety of technical leadership roles over the past 30 years including work with the OSA, the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) and 17 years at the soccer academy level.

Miller most recently served as a volunteer member of the OSA Technical Advisory Committee having a significant influence on the establishment of the new Ontario Player Development League (OPDL).

"I am pleased to be working with the Ontario Soccer Association again," Miller said. "The positive changes in the last four years, including the launch of the OPDL, offer exciting plans to grow the game. The Technical Director's position will be an excellent challenge and opportunity to move the sport to the next level in Ontario."

In accepting this role with the OSA, Miller will be severing his business ties with Bryst International Inc., a private soccer academy he established in 1997.

Miller holds A Licenses from the CSA, USSF, and UEFA. Miller will be responsible for overseeing all of the OSA's soccer technical operations including coach and referee development as well as player development from grassroots to high performance, including the OPDL.
