It may be early in the season, but Oakville Blue Devils and Vaughan Azzurri are starting the season off with a bang as they are now tied at the top of the table with three wins each. The games this past long weekend yielded some intense clashes as all the teams fought hard for points.

The Oakville Blue Devils, the expansion squad, continued their winning streak against Pro Stars F.C. Over 300 home fans showed up to cheer on the Blue Devils, and their support did not go unnoticed as they defeated the Pro Stars by a 3-2 score line, despite losing a defender for ball handling in the box. The Blue Devils' goalscorers were Adrian Butters, Anthony Novak and Anthony Doran, and the Pro Stars's goals came from David Alva, and Jordan Piccinin.

Vaughan Azzurri pushed forward with another win, after beating Master's FA Saints 4-1 on Saturday night. While the Saints remained composed and compact in the first half, Vaughan's attack persevered over Master's defense in the second, which resulted in Joey Cicchilio's brace, along with singles from Mario Kovacevic and Domenico Gullo.

Both Durham FC and Kingston Clippers stood strong and well-organized in their 0-0 draw on Friday night's game. As the Clippers came into the game with full intensity, the Durham side played aggressively and stayed focused throughout the rest of the match to even out the playing field. While no goals were scored, spectators at the match were given an entertaining game to watch.

The Clippers would not exit the weekend on a low note however, as they earned their first win of the season against Sanjaxx Lions with a 2-1 result. Sanjaxx kicked off the scoring with an early goal in the second minute by Frantz Bill, but the Clippers kept their composure which led to an eventual comeback in the second half. Andrew Martin was finally able to equalize in the 68th minute, and Pat Vanderholst sealed the win with a goal in the 88th minute.

The match between Sigma FC and the Windsor Stars saw the Stars score a last minute goal in added time to bring the score to 2-2. Sigma FC started off strong in the first half with goals from Eji Mrabure and Marcus Hanson, but Noah Pio's strike just before the half time whistle kept Sigma on their toes. In the final seconds of added time, Brett Holmberg scored a late goal to equalize the game, and denied Sigma FC of three points.
