The U-13 Girls Ontario Cup final between North Mississauga Panthers and the North London Galaxy was a struggle for both teams as they windy conditions made it difficult for either team to make much momentum.

Both moved the ball well on the deck but with well-organized backlines, neither side was really able to find much opportunity in front of goal.

By the middle of the second half, with neither side wanting to take too many chances, it looked like the game was headed to a 0-0 penalties.

But in the 79th minute, following a miscue by the North London keeper, the Panther's Shyanne Reid found the ball at her foot and only an empty net in front of her. She put her team up 1-0 and it looked like the Panthers were headed to a title.

Less than a minute later though North London's Gabrielle Kohut would receive a pass from Cassidy Wuytenburg at the top of the box with a chance to tie it. Kohut picked her corner and drew her team level in extra time, sending it to penalties.

London would carry that wild momentum shift into penalties as they would go on to win 3-0 on penalties and capture the U-13 Girls Ontario Cup.
