Ontario soccer continues to change and Monday night the OSA membership got one of their first glimpses about what is coming to the province in the near future. 

District and Club leaders from the Southwest Regional Soccer Association, Niagara Soccer Association, Peel Halton Soccer Association and Hamilton and District Soccer Association gathered at the Burlington Holiday Inn and Conference Centre for the first in a series of OSA Town Halls to hear from our Ontario soccer leaders about a new governance model that will take hold in mid-2017 and will put the good of the province first. 

Over 500 people tuned in online that night to watch as the Ontario Soccer Association President Ron Smale and OSA Executive Director Johnny Misley spoke for two hours and took questions on what governance modernization will look like in Ontario, how it will impact the Districts and Clubs and strengthen Ontario soccer going forward.

They also revealed plans for increased operational oversight that will improve communication and make decision making consistent and predictable. 

This was the first in a series of planned Town Halls on how soccer in the province continues to change for the better.
