In the first U-14 Girls semi-final of the day, Brampton Brams and the North Mississauga Panthers squared off for the first final spot. With both teams practicing cautious attack and solid defense, the score line remained locked until the 15th minute.

Brampton’s Samantha Holmes scored a hard kick from outside of the box to put her team in front. Seeking to reply quickly, North Mississauga was denied by Brampton’s defense, that was able to secure the lead into halftime. Through the second half, chances for both sides did not find the back of the net meaning that Brampton’s goal would remain the only of the game and ensure that Brampton would move on to the final.
