In the first U-16 boys semi-final, North London 99 Elite took on the Markham Lightning. North London got off to a quick start, scoring just six minutes into the game on a goal from Everett Alcatrao.

Markham’s Clayton Brown would respond with a goal just four minutes later to equalize. With just five minutes left in the first half, North London’s Ethan Vigario would find the back of the net to put his side up 2-1 at the half.

Three minutes into the second half, Markham would tie it up on an own-goal by North London. Just as it looked like the game was heading to kicks from the penalty mark North London’s Jonathon Kam would score with only three minutes left, sending North London to the Finals.

The second U-16 boys semi-final featured the Richmond Hill Raiders Green and the Islington Rangers. Islington played a defensive style of play, looking to counterattack on Richmond Hill turnovers. However, after the first half the score was locked at 0-0. With 14 minutes left in the second half, Richmond Hill finally broke the stalemate on a goal off of a corner kick by Kyle Humby, giving Richmond Hill a 2-1.
