First Weekend Of Ontario Cup 2015 In The Books

The Ontario Cup returned to action this weekend with opening matches taking place in the U-18 Boys and U-21 Men's divisions. 

These age divisions, on both the male and female side, get an early start in the Ontario Cup. With many of the athletes competing in these divisions playing for college and university teams, the Ontario Cup for U-18s and U-21s both starts and ends earlier than the rest, to ensure all of the players make it back to school in time for their respective training camps.

The teams moving on will have this coming weekend off, but are back in action for the Third Round on June 13. The June 12-13 weekend also marks the beginning of the Ontario Cup Preliminary Round Tournaments, as well as the always competitive Men's division.
