August, OSA President Ron Smale traveled to Kemptville Soccer Club, a 40 minute drive south from Ottawa, to present members of the Kemptville Soccer Club Board with their latest Club Excellence Award. 

The presentation was made during the club’s annual fun day and despite the rain a great time was had by all. 

Kemptville Soccer Club renewed their Bronze Award, becoming the sixth club in the Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association to be recognized for their efforts in club development. 

Smale is pictured making the presentation to Club President Darryl Lapenskie, the Kemptville board, with OSA Grassroots Advisor Ramin Mohammadi and OSA Learning Facilitator Peter Menyasz in attendance. 

The latest intake of Club Excellence inductees are currently being assessed and will be announced in the coming weeks.
