The Robbie International Soccer Tournament/Festival will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2016.

This tournament has gained world recognition as the largest annual charitable youth soccer tournament/festival with $1.64 million donated to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

The OSA has received and approved a request for Special Dispensation from Scarborough Soccer Association regarding The Robbie International Soccer Tournament/Festival specifically for this year’s events.

This variance will lift the travel restrictions outlined in the OSA’s Matrices for U9 to U12 squads, removing the limitation of participation from these age groups due to distance.

Please be advised this is a one year variance only (2016) for the 50th Anniversary of The Robbie International Soccer Tournament/Festival.

Appropriate sanctioning and travel requirements are still required and should be done accordingly.

Additionally, the Robbie will be hosting a Gala event on April 9 to help kick off the lead up to the tournament. It will feature a dinner, open bar and dance.

Additionally, they will be hosting a Celebrity Game on July 3 during their Finals Day. Dwayne DeRosario will be the Honorary Chair for the event.
