The Ontario Soccer Association is very proud to have received a grant from the Ontario Ministry for Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure (MEDEI) to aid Ontario in the understanding of accessibility in Ontario Clubs.

This grant will assist the OSA in understanding the current range of programs being offered in Ontario for athletes with a physical and/or intellectual disability. The objectives of the grant include the creation of an editable educational guide and webinar to assist Clubs with compliance related to the Accessibility for Ontarians with a Disability Act or AODA.

Currently, 21 Clubs offer accessible programs for athletes from youth to adult, however the requirements of AODA go beyond programs on the pitch and address broader volunteer/staff training as well as Club policy requirements.

The 10 minute survey included here will assist OSA Staff and a small working group in better understanding the current status of Clubs.

The deadline for completion of the survey is September 14.

Answers provided will guide the content and format of the Guide and Webinar to best support Clubs in their compliance with AODA and growth of further accessible programs.

Your support and time in completing this survey is greatly appreciated.
