2 days, 7+ hours per day.This course takes place both in a classroom and on a field. Candidates will take part in classroom group work as well as field sessions.
Content and Format:
Some of the course topics covered in classroom include Principles of Development, Role of the Coach, GK Psychology,Energy Systems - Fitness / Agility and Nutrition, Attributes of a Good GK Coach.
Candidates may be asked to present a session topic on field, but coaches will not be formally assessed.
There is no test however full attendance is mandatory to receive diploma for this specialized course.

Course Prerequisite Requirements
Coaches must meet the following pre-requisite requirements to apply to this specialized course.
- Completed full hours Community Coaching Course (Soccer Technical- Child/ Youth / Senior) + Respect In Soccer + Proof of Making Head Way
- Completed the "Soccer For Life" + MED + Respect In Soccer + Proof of Making Head Way
- Former / Active Canadian Professional Player (Written verification from Provincial Technical Director) + MED + Respect In Soccer + Proof of Making Head Way * Written Approval from the Director Technical (OSA) is required if applying based on this prerequisite requirement
Upon completion of this course a diploma will be presented to each participant.
