Types of Soccer

Outdoor
The Ontario Soccer Association is guided by the FIFA Laws of the Game in relation to the metrics of soccer fields. Participants should refer to 'Law One' of the FIFA Laws of the Game which detail the size, surface, goals and markings related to a soccer field
Mini Soccer
Until now, Mini Soccer rules in Ontario have been interpreted differently in terms of number of players playing to the size of field and goal sizes used.
Indoor
The OSA has established a set of Indoor Playing Rules that shows flexibility when it comes to facility dimensions and configurations but also ensures consistent standards for those aspects of the indoor game not bound by the type of facility.
Futsal
The Ontario Soccer Association ran the first-ever Ontario Futsal Cup in 2006.  Futsal has become an increasingly popular sport both around the world and across the province of Ontario. FIFA has named Futsal as the official indoor soccer game.  Futsal leagues have been developing in the Greater Toronto, Ottawa and Western Ontario Regions for a number of years now.
