Refereeing

a)The OSA currently has two Futsal referee courses.

   The first is a Entry Level course for referees that have never refereed
   Futsal before. The people eligible to take this course are current OSA
   Certified Referees that wish to referee Futsal and have never taken the
   OSA Futsal course before. The aim of this course is to train experienced
   referees the Futsal Laws of the Game. The course does not cover the
   basic principles of refereeing therefore a new referee to the OSA system
   cannot take this course.

   The second course is a Futsal Refresher course. This course is designed
   to refresh and update Futsal referees who have previously take the
   Futsal Entry Level course.  The OSA published rules state that a Futsal
   referee in order to maintain their Futsal certification must take the
   refresher course every two years.

   b) The official rules for Futsal – ‘The FIFA Futsal Laws of the Game’ are published by FIFA and cover all aspects of the rules that the game should be played to and the disciplinary actions that players face when they infringe on those rules.
