REFEREE ASSESSORS PROGRAM

2012 and beyond

 

 

MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS FOR BECOMING A DISTRICT ASSESSOR

 

1. Must have experience in refereeing, a minimum of 5 years
2. Assessors who have successfully completed the District Assessor Certification Course, including the exam.
3. Must have approval from the District to attend the course
4. Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

 

 

MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS FOR UPGRADING FROM DISTRICT TO REGIONAL ASSESSOR

 

1. Must have completed 2 consecutive seasons as a district assessor, meeting all criteria
2. Attended in-service training at the required level
3. Must have completed, and submitted to E2E, a minimum number of 8 outdoor (11 v 11)assessments per season
4. Be up-to-date in assessment certification
5. Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
6. And whose assessments, having been evaluated by the Provincial Association, meet the standard as determined by The Canadian Soccer Association

For district assessors wishing to move to the Regional level, Regional Assessor Evaluators will be providing recommendations.  There will be a number of handpicked Regional Assessor Evaluators assigned to this task at the end of each season.  They will provide their recommendations to the AAG for approval or denial.

Assessors, who have completed a minimum of 2 consecutive years as a Regional Assessor, attended In-service training, and whose assessments, having been evaluated by the Provincial Association, meet the standard as determined by The Canadian Soccer Association.

1.       Must have completed 2 consecutive seasons as regional assessor, meeting all criteria

2.       Attended in-service training at the required level

3.       Must have completed, and submitted to E2E, a minimum number of 8 outdoor (11 v 11)assessments per season

4.       The regional assessor must have received current certification

5.       Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Police Check
