Provincial Team Selection / Tryout Consideration
Players who have not previously been asked to Provincial Team Tryouts must obtain a letter of recommendation from a current member of the District Coaching Staff, Club Head Coach or a Coach who possess a minimum of a Provincial B Licence. Tryouts for players who have already been identified will be extended an invitation by the Provincial Coaches.
Players eligible for Team Ontario tryouts in 2011-2012 belong to the following Age Groups
Note: All U14 Provincial Players (born 1998) must have been identified via the Regional Program to be eligible for the squad.
- U15 Males (Players born January 1st, 1997 or later)
- U16 Males (Players born January 1st, 1996 or later)
- U15 Females (Players born January 1st, 1997 or later)
- U16 Females (Players born January 1st, 1996 or later)
Responsibilities of Current Regional Staff and Club Head Coaches
Submit in writing a recommendation for any players who you believe are capable of playing at the Provincial Level. The information should include:
- Player Name
- Phone Number
- Position
- A Brief Report of the Player.
Responsibilities of Players
Submit a short one-page typed player resume. The information on the resume should include:
- Player Name
- Address
- Phone Number
- Date of Birth
- Playing History
- Achievements and Goals.

Attention Manager, of Player Development
Upon Review of the resume and letter of recommendation the player may receive an invitation by mail or phone to attend training with the Provincial Team of their age group.
After this, it is the responsibility of the Provincial Staff Coach to inform the player of their status within the Program
