Ontario U14 & U16 Teams Announce Nationals Roster

The 2009 Nationals are being held in Richmond, British Columbia, for the Boys and Laval, Québec, for the Girls.

The National All-Star Championships is a major scouting event attended by National Youth Teams Staff for identifying the best players from across Canada for invitation to the National Training Centres.

"Ontario has always represented Canada well at the youth level and we are confident that, once again, we will have many players identified by our National Youth Teams staff," says Bryan Rosenfeld, OSA Director of Player Development.

"Ontario’s Provincial Teams have a long history of mining gold and silver at this competition and both the player and team performance expectations remain the same for 2009.

"The Ontario Soccer Association is justifiably proud of this tradition and I know our coaching staff and players are ready for the challenges going into the 2009 National All-Star competition."

The OSA Player Development Program also wishes to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of Clubs and player parents across the province who have assisted in developing and supporting Ontario’s high performance players in achieving their goals and fulfilling their aspirations.
